Zombies Zombies Zombies

Happy Halloween!

I love this season. My graveyard is set up out front, the pumpkins are carved and the ghouls are ready to rock! I know this season Zombies are all the rage, so I’m going to contribute in a very, very small way. I give you the Kiss and Tell Zombie Beer Run.

Lissa smartly refused my plea for a photo of her. Samantha and Eliza were unwitting participants because I already had photos of them.

I own some creepy but interesting books, as many writers do. While cleaning yesterday, I picked up Famous Last Words, by Ray Robinson from the shelf. I thought the last utterances of some interesting characters would add to the Halloween Hoopla.

One man who would be hot even as a Zombie was James Dean. This eerily prophetic quote was made by Mr. Dean only days before his untimely death in his silver Porsche Spyder.

“You know, my fun days are over.”

Oscar Wilde, after spending time in prison for “homosexual offenses,” spent his final years in France and was reported to have said this just before his death…

“I am in a duel to the death with this wallpaper. One of us has to go.”

And I will try to live by this mantra so I can echo the words spoken by Sid Luckman, the legendary Chicago Bears quarterback…

“I had it all, I did it all, and I loved it all.”

Here’s hoping that your Halloween is filled with little frights and large chocolates!

OMG, that was hilarious! We look good as zombies. And you know we'd pub crawl even as the walking dead.

I've had a hell of a lot of fun and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
