We’re back from RomantiCon and boy am I beat. What a great conference. It was small, well put together and tons of fun. I’ll blog more about the convention tomorrow. This is, after all, Trailer Trash Tuesday. I’m using the conference to inspire my choices of videos for today. While in Ohio, I met many authors with great trailers, and many industry people with experience making them. It was hard to pick just two. I narrowed it down to an old friend and a new one.
The first trailer was made by Creations by Kendra. I actually met the adorable Ms. Kendra at a Romantic Times convention about three years ago. RomantiCon is the fist time since then that we’ve gotten to hang out. We had a ball reacquainting ourselves. Kendra is responsible for Samantha’s slick Tomorrow trailer, which I love. It’s not surprising that I love this one as well. Mortal Temptations by Allyson James
The jagged frame makes me feel a little voyeuristic. The music is smoking sexy. Kendra also makes banners, cover art and awesome websites. Check it out.
I was lucky enough to sit next to the fabulous M.A. Ellis for the book signing on Sunday. She was a hoot and so gracious with her fans. I had to keep from drooling over her Hard as Nails books. The cover was so hot. I was happy to find she also had a trailer for this book. I did buy it, so this is an “after the fact” trailer viewing, but I think it would have passed my test anyway.
Hard as Nails by M.A. Ellis
Don’t you love all the black and white? That music is so sultry. Cover model/Caveman Christian is the hottie on that cover. His abs against that white background are to die for. If any of those books got soggy before they sold out, I’m so sorry. They were right next to me.
I just started going through pictures. I can tell you tomorrows’ RomantiCon wrap-up is going to be fun.
Until then…

Love both of the trailers :)
Looking forward to the pictures!! :D Sounds fun!
I love the Allyson James trailer. That frame effect was great. But everyone already knows how much I love Kendra's work. :-)
M.A.'s trailer was awesome! I bought the book already, too. But this is the sexiest trailer I've seen in a while. I love the font they used for her name at the beginning. I know, I'm font crazy. But it was very cool. And the music is very, very sexy.
Cool trailer!
I tripped over the URL on Twitter (which I'm finally easing my way onto...)
