We are the Champions!

Well, we are the finalists for sure.

Did I have to say it? Or do we all know it?

The Kiss and Tell Girls ROCK!

And this week I can actually show you some physical proof of that fact… here it is.

This morning, the finalists were announced for the Passionate Ink’s 4th annual Passionate Plume contest for published authors.

Three Finalists! Yep. I said it. Three.

... Pardon my strut but this is the first big contest I've ever finaled in....

Birthright is a finalist in the Futuristic /Fantasy/Science Fiction category.

And our own Samantha Kane has two books in the finals-

A Lady In Waiting in the novella category

AND

Retreat From Love in the Historical category.

You can see the full list of finalists here.

The Passionate Plume is the only all-erotic contest out there for published authors. This is big for us, girls and boys. The winners will be announced during a ceremony at Romance Writer’s of America National convention in July.

So, wish us luck!

And if you happen to know any of the final round judges, schmooze them for us, would ya?
(in the event that appealing for schmoozing is against the rules of the contest… the previous statement was a joke - really.)

Thanks for indulging me as I blew my own horn! On to business. Next week is the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in Orlando.
Eliza, Sam, and I will be there in person. If you’re in the area, come on down and see us. We’d love to sign some stuff and we’ll be giving away goodies.

We’ll sadly miss Lissa, who is unable to attend this year. Waaaa…. We want our Lissa.
Next year chicka! Next year.

HB is accompanying us to act as our own personal Sherpa and Boy-Toy cover model.
You know the Kiss and Tell Girls would take their own Man Candy to the party!
I’ll take plenty of pictures, because I’m sure the crazy women at the conference will frighten him away from ever attending one of these again.

This is EC's Caveman John, Sam and Myself last year. We look forward to meeting readers and seeing old friends. This is a party I highly recommend. If you would like to see more pics from last year’s RT you can find them here…on my website.

Next weeks blogs will be from the conference, from the road and under the influence. I'll not be held responsible for any content! Should be fun!

You're welcome! :-) I can't wait to read BIRTHRIGHT!!! Sadly though it will take a while till I get around to it. But like I said (in another comment somewhere): In a year from now I'll have read it (that and those hundred others...) *LOL*

That's Eliza with us in that pic with John Fish. I didn't put that picture in the RT blog I'm doing because I look too drunk. Okay, I was, but I really look it.

Thanks for the horn tooting. I'm pretty psyched. This is the first Nationals I'll be attending, and I'm excited to go as a PI finalist.

Congratulations on Birthright. I told you this morning I was completely confident that it would final because it's that good. ;-)

Huge congrats to you both! I wish I could be at Nationals for the PI luncheon.

I've read these books and they well deserve the win! (now to get my hands on the new sci fi next week. *wink*)

I've been a judge in the PI unpublished contest for two years in a row now and I really enjoy that. One day i'll have to enter one of my own. *g*

Rock on ladies!
